Please note:

• 2024-25 session starts from September 3, 2024 and ends on June 14, 2025.
• Both IN-PERSON and ONLINE classes are offered for some classes.
• No class during winter break (2 weeks – Dec 22, 2024 – Jan 4, 2025) and Spring break (1 week – Apr 13 – Apr 19) – No makeup classes are offered.
• No class on Thanksgiving Day (Nov 28) and Memorial Day weekend (May 25) – Makeup classes will be offered.

Guidelines for enrolling into a class:

• Parents can enroll their students online at mybrightnup.com/enroll-online.
• PayPal or transfer through Zelle can be used as the payment method during enrollment. Note that payment using PayPal will have a 3% fee
• Payment Frequency – 3 installments, 2 installments (3% discount), and Full (5% discount).

Guidelines for ONLINE Classes:

• ONLINE classes will be conducted through Zoom and Google Classroom. Zoom links and Google Classroom will be provided before the first class.
• All individuals (students and parents) can optionally wear a mask for the entire duration of time indoors.
• Parents will be advised to wait outside the academy during drop-off and pickup unless it is required to come inside.

Guidelines for ONLINE Classes:

• ONLINE classes will be conducted through Zoom and Google Classroom. Zoom links and Google Classroom will be provided before the first class.
• Parents can collect the materials for classes once a month for the entire month. The weekly materials will also be posted in the Google Classroom.
• Students are required to validate their answers with the key provided and then submit the work in Google Classroom for grading.
• Recording of the class will be available for a week for students to review and catchup.
• Students will be required to have their video ON during the entire class time.

Guidelines for homework completion (both IN-PERSON and ONLINE classes):

• Students will get a printed classwork/homework packet ever week. All homework must be completed before the next class.
• Answer key/solution of the entire weekly packets will be posted every week on Google Drive and the link will be shared with parents.
• Parents/students are highly encouraged to validate/tally their homework against the given answer key so that students are very aware of their mistakes/doubts that they will clarify with the teachers in the next class.
• Teachers will spend at least 15-20 minutes of the weekly class to go over students’ doubts on the previous week’s homework. Teacher will check homework every week.
